With the Lincoln County Prescription Discount Card Program provided to you in a joint effort with the National Association of Counties (NACo), you can save money on many of your prescription purchases! Any county resident without prescription coverage can use this program. Coastal Counties Workforce, Inc. - Coastal Counties Workforce, Inc. (CCWI), is a non-profit 501(c)(3) entity founded to administer and oversee the federal Workforce Investment Act (WIA) (29 USCS § 2801 et seq.). WIA was passed in 1998 by the federal government in order to consolidate, coordinate, and improve employment, training, literacy, and vocational rehabilitation programs in the United States. As a result, a national workforce development system was established and divided into local or regional workforce boards. CCWI is one of four Workforce Investment Boards in Maine and it's jurisdiction includes Maine’s six coastal counties (Knox, Lincoln, Waldo, Sagadahoc, Cumberland, and York)
Lincoln County Regional Planning Commission (LC RPC) - The Lincoln County Regional Planning Commission started in 2010, when Lincoln County municipalities teamed up with the County to establish the commission under Maine statutes (MRSA Title 13, Chapter 81, and Title 30-A, Chapter 119, Section 2321).  The two long-standing county services have been combined, Lincoln County Economic Development Office, and County Planning, into one organization.
Two Bridges Regional Jail - Serving Lincoln and Sagadahoc Counties - The mission of the Two Bridges Regional Jail is to protect the public; to provide a safe, secure, and professional environment which embraces direct supervision principles in the management of detainees; and, through role-modeling and programs, to equip detainees with the means to live a productive and law-abiding lifestyle.
